Bonang Seoela was recently hired by the Idaho Department of Labor as the labor economist for Idaho’s south-central region, which includes Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls counties. He will also cover Bingham and Power counties in the southeastern region. Seoela holds a master’s degree in economics from Boise State University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the College of Idaho. While a research assistant at Boise State, Seoela received the College of Business and Economics’ Signature Student award and a Vice President of University Advancement Award.
Jan Roeser has been appointed by the Idaho Department of Labor as its labor economist covering southwestern Idaho, which includes Ada, Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Valley and Washington counties. This appointment comes after almost 14 years of focusing her attention on Idaho’s south-central region in her role as labor economist. Roeser is an Idaho farm girl and attended Gonzaga University before graduating from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
