Mary McFadden named Saint Alphonsus chief nursing officer

Mary McFadden

Mary T. McFadden, DNP, RN, NEA-BC has been named chief nursing officer at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.  She comes to the Treasure Valley from Oregon, where she served for six years as chief nursing executive for Providence Portland Medical Center.  She has also held multiple chief nursing officer leadership roles within the Kaiser Permanente Northern California region. At Saint Alphonsus, she is responsible for the clinical and administrative leadership, planning, monitoring and evaluating of safe, high-quality patient care. 

McFadden holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University-Phoenix, a Master of Science in nursing education from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from California State University-Fresno.  She is an alumnus of the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship Program and a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Northwest Organization of Nurse Executives. She is licensed by the Idaho, Oregon, Arizona and California Boards of Registered Nursing.
