The Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho has announced that Destinie Hart has joined COMPASS as a principal planner for resource development. Hart will focus on securing funding for transportation and related projects in Ada and Canyon Counties, including identifying funding sources, writing and administering grants, and assisting project managers in ensuring future projects are prepared for funding applications. She has over nine years’ experience in the public sector managing federal grants and administering grant programs, most recently for the Idaho State Police. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Boise State University in communication/english and a certificate in technical communication. In addition, she is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree at Boise State.
