Smith + Malek has named two attorneys to the Boise office. Anne E. Henderson’s practice primarily focuses on civil litigation. She recently served as a law clerk for the Hon. B. Lynn Winmill and the Hon. Candy W. Dale for the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. While clerking, she also worked as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, the University of Idaho College of Law, teaching civil procedure. Henderson is an active member of the Idaho Bar and serves on the Board of Directors for Idaho Women Lawyers, on the Leadership Committee for Access to Justice Idaho and she is a Law Student Mentor for the Federal Bar Association. Henderson is an alumna of Lewis & Clark College.
Kirk Houston is an Idaho-barred attorney whose practice primarily focuses on civil litigation in the areas of contracts and real property. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and he received his undergraduate degree from The College of Idaho in 2006. Houston previously served as a law clerk for District Judge Ronald J. Wilper in Idaho’s Fourth Judicial District. Prior to law school, he worked as a commercial loan specialist at Zions Bank.
