On June 29 — following this year’s CEOs of Influence Awards program, which took place via a virtual stream on June 24 — the 20 CEOs honored were invited to attend an in-person celebration at the Arid Club, sponsor of the VIP reception.

The celebration was limited to 50 guests, including the CEOs and a guest, as well as a handful of others invited by the program’s sponsors: the Arid Club, Perkins Coie, Blue Cross of Idaho, Boise Centre and Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce.

The reception lasted around two hours and gave the CEOs an opportunity to mingle with each other over a beverage of choice. CEOs in attendance included John Brunelle of Capital City Development Corporation, Suzie Hall of The Cornerstone Collective, Tiam Rastegar of Trailhead, John McCreedy of Amalgamated Sugar, Diane Bevan of Idaho Women’s Business Center, David Bailey of Bailey Engineering/landproDATA and Michael Francis of Payette Brewing.

While the CEO of Influence Awards program was the final planned virtual event for 2021, this in-person VIP reception marks Idaho Business Review’s return to live events. The next live event will be the Women of the Year Awards gala, which will be held at Boise Centre on September 30.
