Scott Christensen has been promoted to vice president of operations at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. He takes the post after serving most recently as regional director of medical imaging for the health system. Christensen has been part of the Saint Alphonsus family for 35 years, serving first as Interventional radiology supervisor, and then manager of medical imaging before assuming the regional director role. In addition to his new role, Christensen will continue his leadership as acute care champion for the health system’s transition to a new electronic medical records (EMR) platform. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in radiologic science management from Boise State University. As an active member of his community, Christensen has been president of American Legion Baseball-Boise Senators, president of his local church affiliation and a committee member for the Boy Scouts of America, Ore-Ida Council.
