Is it just me, or is there a lot of development happening across the state?
A number of our stories this week have some element of development-related information in them, whether that is the potential wind farm project near Twin Falls, as Catie Clark wrote about, or highlights from Boise Mayor Lauren McLean’s recent State of the City, covered by Taylor Rico-Pekerol, who we at IBR have the pleasure of mentoring for a semester.
In other development news, southern Idaho has a few project details to share around revitalization, and College of Eastern Idaho plans to hold a ribbon cutting for a featured building instrumental for the college’s growing cybersecurity program. That news and Catie’s coverage of the possible incoming wind farm make for a focus section that highlights southern and part of eastern Idaho.
Outside the development subject, freelancer Sharon Fisher shares that Moscow recently approved an entertainment district, which allows residents to consume beverages outside of buildings during approved downtown events. Do you think this would be good for a downtown in your area? We’d like to know.
And, something we would like you to know: We appreciate and thank everyone who has been submitting Biz ‘Bites’ to us! We’ll share them as fast as we can. And, we thank you for reading!
