2022 Women of the Year unveiled

Idaho Business Review is proud to announce this year’s 50 Women of the Year honorees, who come from all industries and professions. This year’s awards gala will take place in September and will celebrate women leaders from all over the state who have made their mark and are paving the way for leaders of today and into the future.

“2022 marks the 17th year the Idaho Business Review has been recognizing incredible women from across the state of Idaho. This year’s list of honorees represents a broad spectrum of industries, and we are privileged to have them among our community,” said Idaho Business Review Publisher Cindy Suffa.

We want to thank the hundreds of women who took the time to submit nominations and complete applications for consideration, as well as the many others who wrote glowing letters of recommendation for the nominees. The selection process for an awards event like this is never easy, and so, we also want to sincerely thank the panel of judges made up of past Women of the Year honorees. This selection committee reviewed the applicants and selected the 50 honorees based on four categories: professional achievement, leadership, mentorship and community service.

Each year, the Idaho Business Review announces an overall top winner as the Woman of the Year (based on scores from the judges and Idaho Business Review staff members), who is unveiled at the awards gala and introduced by the former year’s winner. Last year’s Woman of the Year was Odette Bolano of Saint Alphonsus Health System.

Also, each year, the honorees are invited to a special meet-and-greet reception, where they have an opportunity to mingle with past recipients  —  networking together, reconnecting and/or creating new friendships.

The 2022 Women of the Year gala will be held Thursday, Sept. 22 at Boise Centre, and tickets are available now.

The women will be featured in a commemorative magazine to be distributed at the awards event and then released to subscribers on Sept. 30.
