Corey Surber is a well-respected businesswoman who has dedicated the majority of her career to Saint Alphonsus Health System. She began work there as a medical transcriptionist in the Cancer Institute 27 years ago and worked her way up to various leadership roles including the director of advocacy and community benefit, and the executive director of community health and public policy.
For the last six years, Surber has worked for Trinity Health, Saint Alphonsus’ parent company, as the director of state advocacy.
Surber has significant experience in Idaho public policy and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The College of Idaho and a master’s degree in health science from Boise State University. In June 2020, she became the first female to serve as the chair of the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry.
