Trish Walker – Powerlist – 50 Most Influential Business Leaders in Idaho

Trish Walker has made it her life’s mission to advocate for diversity, equality and inclusion, with a focus on increasing Black representation. She is a motivated leader who loves connecting with people, building partnerships and providing equal opportunities for individuals from all walks of life.
After earning her undergraduate degree in intercultural/multicultural and diversity studies at Boise State University, Walker worked for Verizon Wireless for a decade. She then transitioned to project management, sales and sales operations for Boise Soul Food Festival, Hewlett Packard and Micron Technology. Today, she is the CEO for Idaho Black Community Alliance, where she helps promote the economic vitality of Black-owned businesses around Idaho. Because of her expertise in overseeing community development initiatives, she has positioned the alliance for continued success and growth.
