Tamarack Resort announces leadership team expansion

Tamarack Resort has announced it is continuing to expand its leadership team.

Wolfe Ashcraft - Tamarack ResortWolfe Ashcraft, formally vice president of resort operations, has been promoted to vice president of resort marketing and operations. Ashcraft has been with Tamarack since 2004, leading departments including the Sports School, retail, marketing, base operations and, most recently, all resort recreation operations. Born and raised in the ski industry, Ashcraft also brings an entrepreneurial mindset to his work, having owned and run a specialty outdoor store and watersports school in Valley County prior to joining Tamarack.

Wellness leader and entrepreneur Julie Beaman-Stauts is the resort’s new spa director. Stauts has more than 20 years of leadership and experience in mind, body, spirit medicine and the spa and body care industry, including the creation of numerous natural body care products using the wild healing plants used by Native Americans. As founder and president of her own company Emulate Natural Care Inc., Stauts shaped the products now used by many prestigious resort spas and golf courses around the world. Stauts is also the formulator and chief operating officer for a wellness brand created specifically for golf performance.

Chris Goedeker - Tamarack ResortChris Goedeker has been hired as the resort’s new director of the Jon Reveal Sports School. Goedeker comes to Tamarack with a wealth of outdoor knowledge and leadership to further enhance the resort’s sports offerings and learning experiences. He began his professional career in skiing at the age of 15 as an instructor at Toggenburg in New York. Since then, he has taught skiing in New Zealand and throughout the east coast while playing a vital role in International Freeskiing and Snowboarding Association (IFSA) freeride competitions as a judge in Vermont. Most recently, Goedeker led children’s programs and staff and guest engagement projects at Jay Peak in Vermont. As a ski pro-rep, he has a history of collaborating with industry professionals and growing vital partnerships around the world. As Sports School director, Goedeker will oversee all aspects of summer and winter on-mountain learning experiences including biking, skiing, snowboarding and watersports. This includes new programs and lessons and managing all instructors and adventure outlets.

Amber Hejduk has been hired to take the helm as vice president of sales and catering. Hejduk comes to Tamarack Resort with over 20 years of experience in sales and hospitality, working for notable brands such as Wyndham and Hyatt and expanding her responsibilities and impact in each role. Most recently, Hejduk was the director of sales and managed the sales team at Eaglewood Resort and Spa in Chicago. In her new role, Hejduk will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, catering and event operations; including implementing the resort’s strategic plan to maximize sales, catering and event revenue for the resort.
