A note from the editor Jan. 6

2023 is starting out strong for us. 

Our Jan. 6 edition features in-depth looks into Idaho industries and products, inspiring stories of business owners launching new ventures, two Idaho companies’ impact in another country, local collaborations and more.

We also have a new staff member to introduce you to: Chloe Baul. Her name may be familiar, as she has previously worked with us as an intern. Chloe brings solid experience and enthusiasm for journalism and the B2B sector. We are excited she has joined us as a reporter.  

Our first special publication of 2023 will be Square Feet, which will feature enterprise articles on high-density development and its impact throughout the state. Look for that in our Jan. 20 edition. Our first Power List, featuring individuals in commercial development, and our 2023 Reader Rankings publications will follow soon after. 

And, if meeting in person to hear about what’s happening in industry is something you’re looking forward to, planning for our first Breakfast Series event is underway; panelists will discuss what’s going on with Idaho’s workforce in late February. We have a dynamic lineup of topics this year, and more information about each is available on our website.  

How is your 2023 starting out? We look forward to hearing about your successes, challenges overcome, innovative opportunities, new ventures…there’s no doubt that there’s a lot going on, and we’d love to share it. Here’s hoping this new year brings good news all around!
