Kolby Reddish recently joined the Boise offices of the Smith and Malek law firm.
He has practiced law in all three branches of the Idaho state government and in his new role will focus on civil litigation, appellate practice, municipal law and taxation.
“I knew that an understanding of the law, as well as the importance of its historical context, would be critical in achieving my goal of serving true ‘liberty and justice for all,’” Reddish said in a statement. “At Smith and Malek, I believe I can serve my community and help people better connect and understand each other’s points of view.”
Last year, Reddish received the Idaho State Bar’s Outstanding Young Lawyer award for his service to the legal community and the public. He also serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Idaho’s College of Law.
According to the release, he has also “presented or published on law and policy in conjunction with The College of Idaho, the Idaho State Bar and Idaho Municipal Attorneys Association, among others.”
Smith and Malek has locations in Boise, Coeur d’Alene, Spokane and Washington’s Tri-Cities area.
