MERIDIAN, ID — On Sept. 14, First Federal Bank hosted its third annual Treasure Valley Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament of Champions at the Julius M. Kleiner Park Bandshell in Meridian. Thirty local businesses participated in a single-elimination bracket competition, with a grand prize of $17,600 in charitable contributions.
“We are delighted to see the collaborative spirit of the businesses in the Treasure Valley and their support of the vital work of our local non-profits,” said Jim Reames, First Federal Bank senior vice president and Treasure Valley Market president. “As a leader in community impact, First Fed is honored to enable the philanthropic efforts of our community partners.”
Businesses paid an entry fee to participate in the tournament, and these funds were pooled to create cash prizes for the top four winners and a special award for the Best Introduction.
The first-place winner received $10,000 for their chosen charity, followed by $4,000 for the second-place contestant, $2,000 for the third-place finisher, and $1,000 for the fourth-place finalist.
