Each year, the Idaho Business Review honors the top construction projects completed in Idaho. During a special awards event, we tell the stories and show the impact of top projects from around the state, with a focus on impact.

Projects chosen as finalists will appear in a special magazine featuring detailed information about the projects. Winners are chosen by an expert panel of local judges based on the following criteria:

• Scope of work
• Challenges and obstacles
• Budget and schedule
• Overall quality

In 2023, we are accepting nominations for projects substantially completed between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023. The submission window is open year-round, with a due date for applications to be received by July 14, 2023.

Each year, we will recognize a Specialty Contractor of the Year. Each application will include an opportunity to nominate a most valued contractor that worked on a nominated project. This award is open to any subcontractor for a project submitted to the Top Projects contest. The winner will be announced during the awards event in October.

The Idaho Business Review also requests your participation in an online survey to choose your favorite project to receive a People’s Choice Award from among all the nominated projects. This award is open to any project submitted to the Top Projects program.
