Cost Plus World Market will close its Nampa store Jan. 20 at Treasure Valley Marketplace due to expiration of its lease, the company announced.
Two World Markets in Chicago are also closing with expired leases, Cost Plus World Market spokeswoman Jill Osaka said.
World Market will continue to have a single store in Idaho, on Eagle Road in Meridian, which had relocated in 2016 from Milwaukee Street in Boise.
“We are continually evaluating real estate opportunities to open new stores,” Osaka said.
The Alameda, Calif.-based Cost Plus World Market has leased an 18,468-square-foot space at Treasure Valley Marketplace since April 2007, said Ramona Merrill, vice president of marketing at El Segundo, Calif.,-based CenterCal Properties, which owns Treasure Valley Marketplace and The Village at Meridian.
