David Hirschi serves as vice president of Plant Sciences, Agronomic Programs & Farm Data at J.R. Simplot Company, one of the largest agriculture businesses in the United States. He assumed leadership of Simplot Plant Sciences in August 2022, bringing extensive experience in global procurement, business development and agricultural innovation to advance the company’s biotechnology initiatives.

Hirschi earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 1997 and completed his MBA at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2004. He joined Simplot in 2016 as senior director of global procurement after a distinguished 20-year career at Dow, where he held positions including global procurement director, ASEAN commercial director and thermal and packaging business director.

Under Hirschi’s leadership, Simplot Plant Sciences has pioneered groundbreaking agricultural biotechnology applications, including CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology for developing enhanced crop varieties. He oversees development of innovative products like the Innate potato, engineered to reduce bruising and food waste, and advanced strawberry varieties with extended shelf life.

Scott Martin is a health care entrepreneur currently leading his fourth company, Rescription, a pioneering “Anti-PBM” pharmacy benefit management company based in Ketchum. A 1990 graduate of Hobart College with a Bachelor’s degree in English and minor in History, Martin has dedicated his career to making health care more comprehensible and affordable for patients and providers.

Martin’s entrepreneurial career spans three successful exits before founding Rescription. In 2021, he sold Remedy Analytics, Inc., a pharmaceutical analytics company he founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which served major brand-name employers comprising more than two million members. Previously, he founded Martin Benefits Consulting and Martin Human Resources.

Rescription is Martin’s vision to revolutionize prescription drug pricing through transparent, no-markup pricing models that deliver 20% to 40% savings compared to traditional PBMs. The company leverages partnerships with hospital systems and cutting-edge technology to provide the lowest available prescription prices. Martin serves as entrepreneur in residence at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he mentors aspiring entrepreneurs with his philosophy that successful entrepreneurship requires “grit, timing, circumstances and hard work.”

Dr. Madison Peach-Keene, PharmD, RPh, is the founder and owner of Peachy-Keen Health + Wellness, a state-of-the-art compounding pharmacy located in Meridian. She earned her doctorate in pharmacy from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy at the University of South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2014, establishing herself as a leader in personalized medicine and health education.

Peach-Keene discovered her passion for compounding during pharmacy school and began her career with Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), the industry leader. At PCCA, she expanded her expertise in dosage forms, formulations and compounding techniques while teaching pharmacy courses including introductory, advanced and veterinary compounding classes, as well as the P1 compounding course for the University of Houston pharmacy school.

After seven years managing sterile, non-sterile and hazardous labs in independent community pharmacies, Peach-Keene founded Peachy-Keen Health + Wellness to fulfill her vision of creating a unique community resource.

Specializing in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, thyroid medications, pain management and dermatologic treatments, she educates patients on comprehensive medical options, empowering them to make informed health decisions through her innovative approach to personalized medicine.
