Sean Evans has led the Meridian Chamber of Commerce since January 2020, guiding the organization through its fastest growing three years in history. His 30-plus years of experience spans organizational management, marketing, media and nonprofit leadership across multiple states.

Evans’ media career included publisher roles at newspapers in Oklahoma and Arkansas before moving to Idaho, where he served as publisher and vice president of Idaho Business Review from 2009 to 2014. He also worked with Idaho Press and Meridian Press before transitioning to nonprofit leadership as president and CEO of Junior Achievement of Idaho from 2016 to 2020.

“I have the unique opportunity to support, promote and advocate for the businesses in Meridian daily,” Evans said. “Representing an association of member businesses that want to see the community grow and prosper is a job that you can look forward to every day.”

His community involvement includes board service with Junior Achievement of Idaho, Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Board Development Committee, USGLC’s Idaho Advisory Committee and the Idaho Chamber Alliance.

Sheli Gartman has spent more than 20 years as a consultant, coach and speaker, serving as mindset and wellness coach for Russell Brunson’s elite ClickFunnels masterminds. She guides high-performing entrepreneurs globally to sustain peak performance without sacrificing health and fulfillment.

Her most significant recent accomplishment is her latest book, “Millionaire Strengths,” designed to help people leverage their talents while managing their shadow sides to create financial prosperity and transformative impact.

“It’s the unique combination of personal and professional development that carries the most successful people you know into sustainable, life-long winning,” Gartman said.

A Northwest Nazarene University graduate with certifications in CliftonStrengths training and executive coaching, she founded WICON, Idaho’s first conference integrating personal development philosophy. The 10-year event helped thousands start businesses, advance careers and overcome limiting beliefs.

“Unleashing your full strengths at maximum power while managing their shadow sides and finding overall wellness ― this is the way,” she said. “It allows you to take people with you to the victory party.”

Neva Geisler has led City Club of Boise for four years, staging 13 forums, tours and salons in the first five months of 2025 that fostered civil discourse on local, state and national issues. Her programming tackles major legislative topics through nonpartisan civic engagement.

“This kind of civil, civic engagement is critical for a healthy democracy, and I’m proud to be part of the team making this programming happen,” Geisler said.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from College of Idaho and a master’s degree in communication from Washington State University’s Edward R. Murrow School. Geisler has elevated youth voices through City Club’s Annual Marilyn Shuler Human Rights Forum, now student-led for four years.

Her Hidden Histories program highlighted overlooked Idaho stories, including bringing author Jenny Tinghui Zhang to Boise for events about Chinese experiences in Idaho through collaborations with nonprofits, state agencies and private sector partners.

“I love to do good work with people I respect, that creates the kind of community where I want to live,” she said.

JP Green, who has worked in retail brokerage for TOK Commercial since 2018, currently serves as the president of the CCIM Institute Idaho Chapter. He became a Certified Commercial Investment Member in 2022.

Green has more than two decades of experience working as a successful entrepreneur and was the owner of several CycleBar franchises, president of Gold’s Gym/Axiom and was on the management team for 24 Hour Fitness.

Green is passionate about commercial real estate and is skilled in retail leasing, tenant representation, and investment sales. He’s also called upon for retail tenant and landlord representation and utilizes his own business and managerial background to bring a unique perspective to each client interaction.

He leverages his corporate and franchise experience when it comes to helping his clients move through the commercial real estate world, providing his specialized perspective into that world.

Lauren Hamilton was named executive director of the Downtown Boise Association in February 2025 after a competitive search process that drew more than 60 applicants nationwide. The Idaho native was selected for her vision for the organization’s future and her ability to present a clear strategy for enhancing the downtown area.

Hamilton brings experience from Boise Centre, where she managed large-scale events, oversaw teams and built strong community relationships. She has also worked at Boise State University and with the University of Idaho Alumni Organizations.

“Downtown Boise is the heartbeat of our community ― it’s where we gather, celebrate and support one another,” Hamilton said. “I am honored to step into this role. I look forward to working with our incredible local businesses, stakeholders and residents to ensure that downtown continues to be a special, thriving and welcoming destination for everyone.”

Board President Jay Story noted Hamilton’s understanding of what makes downtown Boise special and her commitment to driving business success made her ideal to guide the organization into its next era.

Over the past 13 years, Wayne Hammon has helped grow the Idaho Associated General Contractors (AGC) to what it is today. He took over leadership at the organization after the construction industry was reeling from the Great Recession, and with creativity and hard work, rebuilt the organization to a debt-free, nationally respected chapter that continues to grow in reach and relevance.

Hammon said, “Idaho is my home, and it’s deeply rewarding to contribute to the health and growth of this great state. Through the work of Idaho AGC, I believe we’ve played a meaningful role in shaping a construction environment and state policy that supports smart growth and economic resilience.”

Looking ahead, Hammon is excited to expand his team, integrate new technologies, and increase outreach to represent the diverse voices within the organization’s membership ― especially specialty contractors, who are at the heart of the industry.
