Title
CEO

Brian J. Sielaff has led Tamarack Grove Engineering for 22 years, growing the Meridian-based structural engineering firm from a two-person operation with his wife Bonnie to a North American company with offices in multiple states. His most significant recent accomplishment was strategically focusing on financial metrics and profitability goals while embracing the concept of “Thrive in 25.”

“Our leadership team is focused on expanding over the total 50 FTE mark, which will be a huge step for us,” Sielaff said. “Our goal for next year will be to surpass the $10 million in revenue mark as well.”

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from University of Idaho and professional engineering licenses in 49 states, all 10 Canadian provinces and three territories. The company has achieved 15 consecutive years of revenue growth.

“Life is about relationships,” Sielaff said, describing his leadership philosophy. “We are all in the building relationships business before we act out as structural engineers.”

His faith-based, family-first approach has helped attract talent nationwide while bringing recognition to Idaho’s engineering capabilities.
