Idaho Technical Academy was named as a 2021 Cognia School of Distinction under Pittman, said Lance Turner, who nominated Pittman for the Idaho 500 list.

“He continues to champion access to workforce-aligned learning, advocating for scalable, student-centered CTE models that reach learners in every corner of the state,” Turner said. “Pittman is not only a doer and maker but a visionary who’s reimagining how education can power Idaho’s economic future. His work exemplifies the dynamic leadership the Idaho 500 seeks to honor.”
