IDAHO 500 |

Nick Taylor

Nick Taylor’s road to law began in college when he initially thought he was going to be a teacher. He realized it wasn’t the right fit and pivoted, discovering a love for transactional law.

He began his legal career in 2006 after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon and has worked with Dorsey & Whitney, LLP, for the last two and a half years, serving as the managing partner of the firm’s Boise office since its inception in 2023.

Some of his most notable accomplishments there so far have been closing three transformative transactions for a longtime client in Idaho as part of its strategic national expansion. Taylor also traveled to China to negotiate and close a complex international joint venture in the renewable energy sector on behalf of a U.S.-based client. His work has played a key role in the growth of the firm, which now employs more than a dozen attorneys.

“Ultimately, I see my role as solving complex problems, building trusted relationships, and helping others succeed, which in turn helps Idaho thrive,” Taylor shared.
