Kim Ross

Organization
Girl Scouts of Silver Sage
Title
Senior Manager of Girl Entrepreneurship

Kim Ross has spent four years leading entrepreneurship programs at Girl Scouts of Silver Sage, building on her childhood love of the organization’s cookie program. Her career began in 2018 when she discovered Girl Scouts employed professional staff, having previously assumed the organization was entirely volunteer-run.

Ross recently launched “Operation Cookie,” allowing customers to purchase cookies for donation to organizations supporting veterans and military families. The 2025 program resulted in more than 10,000 donated boxes. She oversees the Girl Scout Cookie Program across southern Idaho and parts of Nevada and Oregon, developing strategic communications plans and community partnerships.

Her biggest challenge involved mastering what a colleague described as the “Mount Everest of learning curves” ― requiring expertise in Girl Scout programming, logistics, supply chains and three proprietary data systems.

“To this day, when I talk to my sister, she’ll say, ‘I can’t believe you work for Girl Scouts,’ and I always respond with a big smile, ‘I know! I can’t believe it either!’” Ross said.

She holds an MBA with information systems concentration.
