In the last 12 to 18 months, Michael Adler, founder and CEO of Boise-based Adler Industrial, LLC, has achieved significant milestones by partnering with local developers and cities to drive economic growth and stability in the community and state. Some of these successes include a joint venture with the City of Boise to develop industrial opportunities around the Boise Airport and collaborations with BVA — Ball Ventures Ahlquist on the Pleasant Valley (Boise) and The District at 10 Mile (Meridian) projects.
“These initiatives are creating more jobs, generating additional revenue and enhancing economic stability for the region,” Adler said.
Additionally, Adler launched the Adler Midland Industrial Park in Nampa, where the Stow Company has opened its new facility, and several other businesses are in the process of locating. In this period, Adler Industrial designed and constructed 13 new industrial buildings in the Treasure Valley, totaling over 1.3 million square feet.
Adler established Adler Realty Investment in 1996 and Adler Industrial in 2019, with the main office in Boise; the company also owns, builds, constructs and manages property throughout the Treasure Valley.
During the 2008 financial crisis, the real estate development and construction industry was hit by severe financial instability, a sharp decline in real estate values and a significant reduction in available capital and financing options. He and his team became more innovative in sourcing capital, exploring alternative financing methods and strengthening relationships with investors and financial institutions to secure funding for critical projects.
Today, Adler Industrial is better equipped to handle economic fluctuations and is more attuned to the dynamic needs of the regional industrial real estate market.
“I believe my industrial real estate development work has positively impacted Idaho by attracting new businesses, creating job opportunities and stimulating the local economy,” Adler said.
