As president of Create Spaces, a commercial interiors and audio-video integration company, Scott Galloway’s most significant professional accomplishment during the past year has been the successful expansion of the company into the Las Vegas and Reno markets through acquisition. This strategic move doubled the company’s size, and despite the complexities involved, Galloway managed to seamlessly integrate the new teams and operations.

“Our company is very goal-oriented, and my main goals for the next year are hitting our growth numbers and making our company an awesome workplace,” he said.

To improve the workplace, Galloway fosters a positive culture through recognition, training/development and open communication, while continuously gathering feedback. Because recruiting, developing and retaining talent is always a challenge, Create Spaces tackled the issue by focusing on young talent, resulting in a workforce of nearly 100 employees with high engagement scores.

Create Space helps employers create inviting and functional office spaces that encourage their employees to return to the workplace.

Galloway came to his current career after being recruited by his brother following the sale of Galloway’s previous business.

“Working with family has been a lot of fun and incredibly rewarding,” he said. “The move was driven by my interest in the industry and the opportunity to leverage my entrepreneurial experience to help grow our business.”

Galloway has goals and dreams as well, including his “secret dream” to build an indoor water park.

“I have a vision for creating a unique, fun and family-friendly destination,” he said. “It combines my passion for entrepreneurship with my love for creating memorable experiences. I just need some time and resources to bring this vision to life.”
