Andrew Luther

Organization
Ford Idaho Center & Nampa Civic Center
Title
General Manager

Andrew Luther has managed Oak View Group’s Nampa entertainment venues for six years, with his most significant recent accomplishment being the passage of the Nampa Auditorium District in November. The initiative adds a 5% hotel room tax, generating approximately $1.5 million annually for venue expansion.

“For me, the voters passing the Nampa Auditorium District this past November” was his proudest moment, Luther said. “It will further decrease the need for the Nampa taxpayer to fund the facilities.”

His career path was influenced by childhood experiences attending venues like the United Center for Chicago Bulls games and his father’s industry involvement.

His goals include continuing to grow in-house events like Oktoberfest and 3rd Street Market at the Nampa Civic Center while maintaining high-profile concerts at the Ford Idaho Center.

Luther emphasizes the venues’ economic impact on local businesses and Idaho’s growing presence in the national entertainment scene.

“The ability to play the long game” has been crucial to his success, he said. “Nothing is given quickly, and you have to be patient and apply yourself.”
