Michael Ballantyne

For more than two decades, Michael Ballantyne has served as TOK Commercial Real Estate’s managing partner. He shared that his undergraduate studies were in international studies and Spanish, which led him to work internationally before recognizing a knack for real estate. His father, uncle and grandfather all worked as real estate brokers, and Ballantyne said it made sense to follow in their footsteps.

“Now, my work allows me to assist global companies in expanding their presence right here in my hometown, essentially bringing that international perspective back to my community,” he said.

When asked what some of his biggest highlights of the past year were, Ballantyne spoke of the honor it’s been to help establish the company’s sixth brokerage and property management office in Spokane, Washington.

“The TOK team and I are focused on deepening our engagement and continued growth in the thriving ‘lifestyle markets’ of the Western U.S.,” he said. “By doing so, we intend to unlock and build new avenues for our clients, enabling them to strategically expand their businesses in each of the vibrant communities we serve.”
