Over the last two decades, Ben Quintana has contributed to numerous job creation and workforce development efforts via the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, Boise Valley Economic Partnership, Boise State University and Northwest Lineman College. As a twice-elected Boise City Council member, he also contributed to many initiatives that helped improve the livability and economic competitiveness of Idaho’s largest city.

Quintana also has experience working for St. Luke’s Health System, helping develop leaders at all levels of the organization which led to increased organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and, ultimately, improved health outcomes for the people and communities served. Today, he works as a leadership advisor, speaker and university instructor, and is passionate about helping others discover and hone their skills. In April 2024, he was honored with Boise State University’s Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year Award for demonstrating excellence in teaching and supporting student success across multiple MBA programs.

On the horizon, Quintana looks forward to continuing to work alongside people to be better leaders. He is also working toward the completion of his doctoral degree.

“Earning my PhD is a long-held educational goal that is finally within reach,” he said. “In addition, continuing to help as many people as possible to become better leaders and communicators through my advising, speaking and teaching efforts remains my top professional priority.”
