Powerlist – Clint Cooper – Client Strategist – ZAG Technical Services

After working nearly 28 years at Agri Beef, Clint Cooper transitioned into his newest role as client strategist for ZAG Technical Services a year ago.

“This shift has been both exhilarating and challenging,” he explained.

Cooper said that growing up in a farming family, with his father working as a custom farmer, gave him the opportunity to see how business and business relationships were. He also learned about the importance of showing up and working hard.

“Those lessons contributed to my success,” he shared. “So, if I weren’t in my current career, I’d probably be on a farm, running a tractor, applying fertilizer and harvesting potatoes in the fall.

Those are fond memories for me.”

Cooper said that his goals for the next year are simple: He wants to continue honing his leadership skills, learn the managed IT services business to the best of his ability, and put his decades of already success career experience to good use as a leader and mentor.

“I’ve seen my work contribute to the success of multiple companies over the course of my career. IT systems, security and information systems management have helped them build better processes, gain efficiencies and differentiate themselves in the marketplace,” Cooper said. “It has helped them grow and scale, and it was very rewarding to be a part of that. Later in my career, taking on more leadership roles, building a team, forging strong relationships with them, and seeing what we could accomplish together was also incredibly rewarding.”
