Latest Priest Lake auction yields $7.9M in sales; three properties receive no bids

In a recent auction, five properties sold while three didn’t receive any bids.

At a Glance:

The auction was held by the on Aug. 23, selling the endowment-owned lots in Priest Lake for a total of $7.9 million for all five. According to the department, each property only received one bid.

Similar to an auction held in July for properties on , three lots received no bids.

Four of the Priest Lake lots were bid on and purchased by the current leaseholders. One property was unleased and bid on by a non-lessee. All the properties have homes built on them.

The Idaho Department of Lands holds the lots in public trust for State Public Schools beneficiaries. While the land remains in the trust, the homes and improvements made to the lots are the property of the winning bidders.

The three lots that didn’t receive bids are 1449 Priest Lake Shore Drive, 108 Powerline Road and 330 Pinto Point Road, all in Coolin. For more information or to view listings, visit https://bottlesauctions.com/listings/.
