Boise-based Colliers International Idaho opened a Pocatello office in early May that is staffed by former Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors agents in Pocatello.
Toronto-based Colliers International Group on April 3 acquired Salt Lake City-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors.
Don Zebe, who previously ran the CBC Pocatello office, decided to transfer from the CBC/Colliers in Salt Lake City to Colliers in Boise. Instead of sticking with his existing Salt Lake arrangement, Zebe decided to broaden his reach to Boise.
“I had an option to go with the Utah group,” Zebe said. ”I still maintain the relationships I have in Salt Lake. It gives me the best of both worlds.”

The Boise Colliers follows Boise-based Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate, which opened an eastern Idaho office in March 2016 in Idaho Falls.
“This new office presents us with an opportunity to not only add the Zebe’s brokerage expertise, but also to greatly expand our third-party property management portfolio,” said Jim Shipman, president and chief operating officer at Colliers International Idaho.
Shipman approached Zebe as CBC shut down its Idaho offices in Pocatello and Boise.
“We’ve done business in eastern Idaho,’ Shipman said. “Having boots on the ground is a big advantage, being part of the community, with relationship in place.”
Don Zebe will operate the Pocatello office with his son, Jared Zebe. Eventually, Shipmen expects to expand the Pocatello office to four or five with property management staff and additional brokers.
