Mary Watson is new contracts manager for CCDC

The Capital City Development Corporation has hired Mary Watson as a contracts manager, focusing on agreements with private engineers, architects, contractors and other development professionals. In addition, Watson will manage the procurement process, including competitive bidding and contractor selection processes as well as a wide-range of contract documents. She is a member of the Idaho State Bar.

Watson was an assistant city attorney for the City of Boise for more than 13 years. Earlier, she served as a public defender for Ada County where she advanced to the role of lead attorney within the juvenile division.

She graduated, cum laude, from St. Mary’s College of California with a BA in communications and government. She received her JD from Willamette University College of Law. She served as a board member for Just Strays Animal Foundation and has participated in Rake Up Boise for nearly a decade.
