Creo Capital Partners LLC has purchased Eagle-based food products distributor Treasure Valley Business Group for an undisclosed price. According to its Web site, the company serves retailers and foodservice professionals through its brands TJ's Premium, T.J. Farms, and TJ Farms Select. It also provides innovations in product development, packaging and sales.
Creo Capital is a Los Angeles-based private equity firm. Operating Partner John Turner said in a release that the company considers the Idaho company a strong addition to its food platform. Creo plans to expand it, and integrate it into the other Creo food businesses, he said. Creo invests in companies that generate revenues between $25 million and $200 million.
GW Equity, Dallas, handled the transaction. That firm said it assists privately held and family-owned businesses in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic growth initiatives.
