Ted Brandvold has joined Hummel Architects as a senior architect in the Boise office. He brings 27 years of experience in architecture office operations to the firm and will be focusing on firm-wide quality control, technical detail production, codes and specifications for the company. Before joining Hummel, Brandvold owned and managed his own architecture firm, served an eight-year appointment on his local planning commission, held an elected position and most recently worked for the City of Meridian as its commercial project manager.
Priya Raman has joined the firm as a senior project manager in the Boise office, credited with adding strength to the firm’s expertise in the design of education facilities. Raman brings more than 19 years of experience on public and private projects across the country with a vast array of user groups. She earned a bachelor’s in architecture from NITT, India and a master’s in architecture from Kansas State University with an emphasis in environment behavior and place studies. Her skill set spans education, urban multifamily, civic, religious, adaptive-reuse and historic preservation project types.
