Journal Broadcast Group is selling two AM radio stations in Boise, Idaho, to a nonprofit corporation for $950,000.
The company, which is part of Milwaukee-based Journal Communications Inc., said today the buyer is Salt & Light Radio, which plans to carry “Catholic Christian” programming in English and in Spanish. The stations are KGEM-AM and KCID-AM, according to a news story.
Journal Broadcast Group still runs four other radio stations in the Boise market and television stations KIVI-TV and KNIN-TV.
