The $25 million Regency at River Valley Apartments will soon start pre-leasing for its eventual 240 units that range from one to three bedrooms. The housing development, located directly north of The Village at Meridian on Eagle Road, should have its clubhouse open by the end of March and could soon have staff to deal with prospective tenants, according to Randy Rindlisbacher, construction project manager with Bach Development. Bach Development, based in Utah, is the general contractor and an investor in the project.

The first of the eight apartment buildings in the complex should be finished in April or May, with subsequent buildings finishing every two months, Rindlisbacher said. A pool area should be finished by Memorial Day.Workers are at various stages on seven buildings, including the clubhouse. The apartment project was originally approved by Meridian planners five years ago, but due to economic conditions, construction did not start until 2012.

Greg Rindlisbacher, Randy’s brother, said rents for the apartments are not yet finalized. He estimated that one-bedroom apartments would be in the $700 range, two-bedroom apartments in the $800 to $900 range and three-bedroom apartments in the $900 to $1,000 range.
