Doug Woodruff to manage improvements for CCDC

Doug Woodruff has joined The Capital City Development Corporation as the capital improvement project manager, overseeing CCDC-owned assets including downtown Boise plazas, streets, sidewalks, bike facilities and pathway projects.
Most recently, Woodruff worked on planning the Boise City Public Library expansion. He holds an associate’s degree from Boise State University in Applied Science with an emphasis in horticulture, landscape maintenance and design, a BA from the University of Idaho in landscape architecture and an MA from the University of Utah in real estate development with an emphasis on city and metropolitan planning.
He is co-author of the TDR Handbook, about the transfer of development rights, and until recently sat on the board of the Utah chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism.
