Primary Health Medical Group announced at the end of June that it will build a new clinic at 1871 E. McGrath Road in Eagle to replace its current clinic at 435 S. Eagle Road. The new site offers easy access and ample parking. The current health care staff and providers will relocate to the new building when it is completed.
The grand opening of the replacement facility is tentatively scheduled for fall of 2022. Like other recent builds for the medical group, the clinic will include 11 exam rooms, an x-ray suite, a trauma room and a lab and procedure room in order to address a variety of health needs.
The new Eagle location will continue to provide walk-in urgent care, work injury care, sports medicine and family medicine by appointment. Virtually all insurance plans are accepted, and a discount is offered for self-pay patients. The new facility will be larger than the current building, allowing the clinic to add another physician.
Primary Health CEO David Peterman, M.D., explained in a statement the firm’s decision to build a new facility: “Our Eagle clinic has become very busy over the years, due to growth in the area and patients appreciating the comprehensive care we offer. It’s clear we need a more convenient location with improved access and a larger space. Our new clinic will include more square footage, so we can add another family physician and expand availability of family medicine services in Eagle. Patients will also enjoy easy access coming from multiple directions. Overall, the new clinic will allow us to better serve the community of Eagle, which has been very supportive of us.”
Primary Health Medical Group was recently voted Best Urgent Care for the seventh year in a row and has been growing steadily. New clinics recently opened in Boise and Kuna, and the group’s newest Boise location will open in late 2021 at Cole and Victory roads.
