Fisher’s Technology expands Utah operations with Wasatch acquisition

With the acquisition of a Providence, Utah-based company, an Idaho company has expanded its footprint into the neighboring state.

Fisher’s Technology, which provides office equipment and for businesses, recently bought Wasatch Document Solutions in the Beehive State.

The acquisition was finalized on Sept. 1, with Fisher’s adding to its existing locations in Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah. The purchase comes after the CEO of Wasatch, Mike McKenna, vetted potential companies.

“We wanted to find an exceptional partner that would take care of our customers,” he said. “Fisher’s will improve on the Xerox solution we have been using for service and supply delivery. We did a very thorough evaluation of several potential candidates and unanimously agreed that Fisher’s was a fantastic organization that would provide the type of outstanding service and support our customers deserve moving forward.”

McKenna added that both companies have a “clear connection with culture and commitment to excellence.”

Fisher’s Technology CEO Chris Taylor said his company was “excited” to take on Wasatch’s operations.

“Utah is a truly amazing place with thriving, innovative companies that deserve high-performing technology supported by a high-quality service team,” he said. “Like Wasatch Document Solutions, Fisher’s mission is to make our customers extremely happy with their , all while having fun in the process.”
