Boise business named for fourth year as ‘leading’ hotel in state

For the fourth time since 2020, a downtown Boise hotel has been named the winner of a global travel award.
At a Glance:

Inn at 500, at the southeast corner of Capitol and Myrtle streets, was named Idaho’s Leading Hotel 2025 by World Travel Awards, which recognizes the top hotels in each state and hospitality and travel services worldwide.
This isn’t the first time Inn at 500 has won the award. It took home top honors in 2022, 2021 and 2020. Runners up for this year’s award were Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown, Residence Inn Boise Downtown/City Center and Shore Lodge.
Residence Inn Boise Downtown/City Center was the recipient of the Leading Hotel in 2024 and 2023. This year, Residence was named as Idaho’s leading Business Hotel, and The Harkness Hotel in McCammon was named as the best boutique hotel.
The World Travel Awards were created 32 years ago “to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.”
Nationwide, three New York-based hotels took home the top honors in the three categories. The Plaza, New York was named as the United States’ Leading Hotel 2025; InterContinental New York Barclay was named the United States’ Leading Business Hotel 2025; and 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge was named the United States’ Leading Boutique Hotel 2025.
