Thirsty? Hungry? Needs some more music in your life? A new establishment in the Treasure Valley might just feed your needs.

At a Glance:

On Feb. 7, Coa Cantina will open its doors in east Boise, with what it calls a “lively cantina atmosphere,” in the Harris Ranch area at 3724 S. Eckert Road.

The new establishment will feature tacos, tequila-forward cocktails and live music. During the grand opening ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 7, there will be live music, including mariachi performance, giveaways and in-person broadcasts from Mateo with radio station Kiss 103.5.

“I don’t think there’s a lot of this style of restaurant out here,” said Nikolai Castoro, president of Torro Restaurant Group. “Everyone’s excited. Everyone’s gung-ho about it.”

Torro Restaurant Group is a local hospitality company that also owns Barbacoa, Coa De Jima and Coa Del Mar.

The restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., features between six and eight TVs, seating at the bar for eight people, a capacity to serve about 50 guests, and additional patio seating during warmer weather.

The grand opening is open to the public and more information about the establishment can be found at https://coacantinaboise.com.
