Tuuti Agency, a WBENC-certified, woman-owned marketing firm in downtown Boise, has built its foundation on empowering women at every level. The 12-member agency holds 100% female representation in executive roles and maintains a workforce that is 83% women.
Founder and CEO Shawnda Huffman co-founded the Meridian Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership Committee in 2020, which has since hosted more than 30 women-focused community events. The committee’s programming includes a self-defense and safety awareness event that empowered more than 80 women with critical knowledge.
The company also proactively supports “internal promotions, leadership development pathways and equitable hiring practices,” it stated in its Empowering Women application.
“As a woman, I have only ever felt empowered at Tuuti. I have finally found a place where my career is genuinely nurtured, supported and cared about,” said Alanah Zeise, executive assistant.
The agency’s OnBrand Summer Internship program has empowered eight female interns through 2024 and 2025, providing leadership experience and campaign ownership. Participants selected nonprofits including Women’s and Children’s Alliance and Freedom Youth Foundation to receive free marketing support.
Tuuti launched its annual “She-E-O” campaign during Women in Small Business Month to celebrate local female CEOs mentoring the next generation of women leaders. The agency partners with women-led nonprofits, including its 2026 partner Flock Cancer of Idaho.
Huffman was honored as one of Idaho Business Review’s Women of the Year in 2023 and 2024 and recognized as a CEO of Influence in 2025.
