Castledine assumes leadership position with SelectHealth

Former chief executive officer of Saltzer Health, Ed Castledine, has been named market president of SelectHealth in Idaho, assuming the responsibilities of Jerry Edgington. Castledine said he plans to focus on the expansion of consumer and government markets, serving more than 100,000 people in Idaho. Castledine brings over 20 years of experience as an innovative leader building lasting business relationships and working with business-to-consumer markets. A Nampa native, Castledine left Idaho to attend college in Ohio and returned to earn a Master of Business Administration degree at Northwest Nazarene University. He was the previous CEO of St. Luke’s Nampa and responsible for several tasks, including oversight of strategic planning, analysis, product development and the administration of the ortho-neuro and rehab service lines. At SelectHealth, Castledine is responsible for the strategic vision, payor/provider partnership development and operational leadership of the rapidly growing medical group.
