Since becoming CEO of Ball Ventures in 2002, Cortney Liddiard has successfully developed and guided all the company’s investment activities, including the allocation of cash assets and portfolio composition.
During his tenure, Liddiard has invested billions of dollars on behalf of the Ball family across hundreds of transactions in either real estate, energy, health care or private equity. He grew the company from a single employee to a base of more than 60 direct current employees and is directly responsible for the creation of key partnerships.
Under Liddiard’s leadership, Ball Ventures has evolved from a business primarily in commercial real estate and hospitality to a diversified portfolio that continues to gain experience with companies and industries nationwide. The company currently has projects in 17 states around the country and employs 1,150 Idahoans and another 650 out-of-state workers.
