While Idaho Technology Council (ITC) — the voice from industry to drive innovation across Idaho — is based in Boise, Jay Larsen, the organization’s president and CEO, can immediately think of a technology-focused company in just about every region of the state.
Since 2008, Larsen has been leading efforts to ensure the success of Idaho’s technology system through ITC, which he founded to fill a void he identified while compiling data of voices in Idaho’s technology community. His research uncovered a significant opportunity across the state’s economic regions for a unified voice.
Recent ITC events strive to connect technology businesses with capital, fellow industry leaders and innovations, among other resources. As the face of ITC and a behind-the-scenes supporter, Larsen aims to help entrepreneurs and tech folks looking to find a way to make the world better with the products they build and the solutions they generate.
