IBR to honor 50 of Idaho’s best with Icon and AU40 awards

From 40 notable Idahoans under 40 to 10 icons in their respective industries over 50, Idaho Business Review is getting set to honor those making a difference in their fields.

This year marks the third year that IBR is combing a celebration of its Icon Awards and its Accomplished Under 40 honors, highlighting those who have helped and are helping the business community to grow and flourish.

The Icon Awards, marking its seventh year, honors influential people over the age of 50, who have created a legacy to be celebrated.

The AU40 awards program honors people under 40 years of age in industry, government and nonprofit sectors who will be the decision makers of the future.

Honorees of both awards can be nominated by anyone, whether it be those they’ve worked with, those they’ve influenced, led or mentored, the community at large or those that have seen their potential and watched their careers grow.

Once nominated, candidates are asked to submit applications, letters of recommendation, resumes and other pertinent information to be considered. A judging panel of past winners will score the nominees, looking at professional achievement, leadership, mentorship and community service. Based on those scores, the final list is then selected.

Both the Icons and AU40 honorees will be profiled in commemorative magazines published by IBR on June 7, 2024. An awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 5:30-9 p.m. at Boise Centre in downtown Boise. The awards event is sponsored by the Boise State University College of Business and Economics.
