Bobbi-Jo Meuleman’s career has given her a unique opportunity to work with business communities around Idaho, helping them find success. Over the course of her work, she’s been able to help make long-term strategic investments in education, transportation and the workforce, and also shared that working for the governor during the pandemic was one of her biggest professional challenges ― and accomplishments. That taught her a lot about leadership and handling issues during a crisis.

Today, Meuleman serves as the president and CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, a role she stepped into just eight months ago.

“Maintaining and growing the membership of the chamber is a priority,” she said. “I am also focused on the chamber being engaged in proactive efforts that support businesses and allow them to grow and flourish such as workforce and transportation. The chamber represents 2,000 businesses, it is important their voice is heard.”

Looking at the future, there are a lot of exciting things at her fingertips as she learns the ropes of her new position.

“I have been very lucky to have a career that has allowed me to work with the businesses community and be part of proactive efforts,” Meuleman said. “I hope to always be able to be working in a career that allows me that opportunity.”
