Late-night cookie shop to open this week

A grand opening to celebrate a sweet new arrival to Boise’s business scene will be held on Nov. 2.
Saturday, from noon to 3 a.m. (you read that right), Insomnia Cookies will hold an all-day event to mark the opening of its 304th location in the U.S., having started in Philadelphia.
The shop, conveniently located near the Boise State University campus at 900 W. Royal Boulevard, Space 2, bills itself as a “beloved cult brand” that serves several flavors of freshly backed, warm cookies, ice cream, brownies, blondies and brookies.
People who visit the shop during the grand opening and sign up for the company’s Insomnia Rewards program will receive one free classic cookie. People can sign up for the program online or in the store’s app.
Along with in-store purchasing, Insomnia Cookies offers delivery of its treats. Those who sign up for the rewards program can earn free delivery from the grand opening through Nov. 17 using the code BOISE, though the delivery area is limited to BSU and surrounding neighborhoods.
As previously reported on this site, Insomnia Cookies is hiring part-time workers for the shop, and those interested in applying for a position can do so at careers.insomniacookies.com.
Regular store hours throughout the week will be:

- Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m.- 1 a.m.
- Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m.- 3 a.m.
- Saturday, noon-3 a.m.
