HDR is pleased to welcome Suzy Cavanagh to Idaho’s Resources Group.

For 26 years Cavanagh has worked in the environmental field as both a consultant and a public employee. She started her career as a geologist while at Boise State University earning a Master’s in Geology, according to a recent announcement, and after several years of materials testing, remediation and hydrogeology experience, Cavanagh transitioned into environmental permitting and project management. Over the past 20 years, she has prepared NEPA documents for federal agencies for post-wildfire land management planning, transportation and transmission projects. For the last 10 years, she has focused on leading natural resource groups in permitting projects in the energy sector (transmission, substation, wind, solar and battery energy storage) in the Pacific Northwest. She also supports mining projects in Idaho and serves on the Idaho Mining Conference Planning Team.

Cavanagh is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, backpacking and skiing with her husband and two sons.
