As part of an ongoing series of improvements and upgrades, Brundage Mountain Resort launched a rebranding of its logo and identity.

The move is meant to highlight the resort’s commitment to the legacy of the mountain and to focus on the future of its operations.

A new tagline of “Mountain First, Mountain Always,” is a “reflection of the ownership group’s commitment to keeping the on-mountain experience as the top priority as it invests in the 62-year-old resort,” the outfit said in a statement.

The rebranding with a new logo and color scheme are meant to visually remind end users of that the purpose is “of the improvements is to enhance, but never eclipse, the experience people have on the slopes.”

According to Brundage Mountain staff, the new logo made up of a primary triangular mountain shape, focusing on making the “on-mountain experience” a top priority for the resort. The colors of the logo, varying between yellow, green, blues, brown and orange, are based in nature but vibrant to capture uplifted feelings.

Since 2020, when a group of family investors acquired the resort, Brundage has been undergoing plans and improvements to sustain the resort well into the future. Among the projects patrons can expect to see in the coming months and years are the new Centennial Express High-Speed Quad, a new 12,000-square-foot Mountain Adventure Facility, and a “ski-in, ski-out” lodge.

General Manager Ken Rider said Brundage is much more than just skiing.

“The people who love Brundage know that it’s about so much more than just the incredible northern Rockies snow,” he said. “It’s about coming to a friendly, low-key place where people who love the outdoors can enjoy what nature provides, but also enjoy each other’s company, good food, fun events and where they can create great memories and family traditions.”

The changes are all part of a 10-year plan to make the resort a year-round destination. Initial investment funding is projected at $25 to $30 million to create a better flow from the time visitors arrive through to the mountain experience. The focus on flow, Brundage staff stated, was to eliminate hassles or delays for the ever-growing skiing and snowboarding enthusiast population.

“We strongly believe a ski resort’s true brand is the experience that people have while they’re here,” Rider said. “Logos and fonts are simply the symbols we use to communicate that we are thinking of the mountain first and will be prioritizing the mountain always.”
