A restaurant known for its soups and sandwiches is opening its doors in a fourth location within the Treasure Valley.
People in Eagle won’t have to Meridian or Boise to get their fix of Panera Bread, which is opening its first location in that city on Sept. 25 at 722 S. Edgewood Lane, Ste. 100. The restaurant will open its doors at 6 a.m. that day, noting the opening with promotions, community contributions and a special “bread breaking” ceremony.
“We’re proud to bring the first Panera to Eagle and excited to grow our presence in this wonderful community,” said Jason Ward, area operating partner for Panera. “We look forward to bringing our guests the delicious food, and warm, welcoming service they know and love from Panera.”
The location, which will employ 55 to 60 people, will be open seven days a week, 6 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday. It will also feature a digital ordering and mobile pick-up lane, dine-in, takeout and delivery options. Catering will also be available.
On opening day, the first 100 customers will receive a year’s worth of free “You Pick Two” meals, which allows guests to choose any combination of two half-size entrees from the menu. The offer is limited to one meal per month.
From opening day on Sept. 25 until Dec. 25, 2026, the new location will offer the location as a place for nonprofits to host fundraising events, and Panera will donate 30% of net sales from the event to the organization.
